Fox Hole Farmhouse was originaly a wood cutters cottage on the old Ashburnham estate and was built sometime before 1732. It has been added to in all directions but still retains great character. It faces due South in complete isolation surrounded by farmland and Forestry Commision woodland.
It is a paradise for birds (76 varieties last year!). Walkers will find unlimited tracks and footpaths and everyone will enjoy the peace and tranquility of a stay in our house.

Take the A21 South towards Hastings. Turn off on the A2100 to Battle. Turn right at the roundabout in Battle on the A271. After 1 mile turn to Heathfield on the B2096. Fox Hole is 3/4 of a mile from this junction on the right hand side.
Rail:London to Battle on Charing Cross line, then forward by taxi.
Bus:Hastings to Heathfield route alight at North Trade Road,Battle then walk 1 & 3/4 mile walk from bus stop.
